Oma Home

By Kitsch & Huis

Is an intimate and sensory atelier created by Kitsch & Huis By Jason Ayala Pacheco, where art, architecture, and memory meet reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. It is the home of a grandmother with a millennial spirit: joyful, free, curious, and deeply artistic.

Located in De 1800 Roeden, this small house appears like a hidden jewel among the trees. From the outside, its weathered wood, steep dark roof, and almost storybook silhouette evoke refuge and protection. At dusk, a warm light glows from within, hinting that something special is unfolding inside.

The house was designed by architect and artist Willen Spruit as a space for retreat in the heart of nature. Its most distinctive feature is the circular glass structure: from the outside, sculptures, golden reflections, and human forms seem to come alive, inviting visitors in without fully revealing their secret.

Inside, the space hosts the ceramic works created by Kitsch & Huis pieces that naturally dialogue with the architecture and transform the house into a living, immersive, and intimate artistic experience.

Oma Home is not merely a place to contemplate art. It is a space meant to be lived. Here, small groups can enjoy private High Tea & High Wine gatherings or workshops in an exclusive and deeply intimate setting. The natural fireplace brings both physical and emotional warmth; the lighting is soft and gentle; soft, nostalgic grandmother style music floats in the air like a shared memory. Sculptures by visual artist Rosamar Corcuera accompany the space not as exhibited objects, but as silent presences that become part of the experience.

Every detail invites you to slow down, to converse without haste, to share, and to create memories. Oma House is a celebration of craftsmanship, emotion, and authenticity a place where time seems to stand still and where the house itself becomes part of the artwork.
