Cancellation Policy – Space Rentals
Scope of this Policy
This Cancellation Policy applies exclusively to the rental of spaces and event bookings offered by Kitsch & Huis.
This policy does not apply to physical products purchased through our store.
Returns and refunds for physical products are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which can be found separately on our website.
Reservation Confirmation
At Kitsch & Huis, all space rental reservations are considered confirmed once payment has been received.
If a client wishes to cancel a reservation after payment has been made, the following cancellation conditions apply:
More than 14 days before the scheduled event date
The full amount paid will be refunded.
Between 14 and 7 days before the scheduled event date
50% of the total amount will be refunded.
Less than 7 days before the scheduled event date
No refund will be issued.
No-show (failure to attend the reservation without prior notice)
No refund will be issued.
Rescheduling
A reservation may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, provided that the request is made at least 7 days before the scheduled event date.
Requests to reschedule less than 7 days before the event may be accepted at the discretion of Kitsch & Huis and may be subject to an administrative fee.
Last Minute Reservations
Reservations made within 72 hours of the scheduled event date are considered last minute bookings and are non-refundable.
Force Majeure
In the event that Kitsch & Huis is unable to provide the reserved space due to circumstances beyond its control (such as technical failure, safety issues, or other unforeseen events), the client will be offered either:

A full refund, or

The option to reschedule the reservation to a new date, subject to availability.
General
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
The date and time of receipt of the cancellation request will determine the applicable cancellation conditions.
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (BTW).
