Who am I?

Who am I?

My name is Jason Ayala Pacheco. I am a hybrid digital artist and artistic director of Gallery Intussen, based in Amsterdam. My practice exists at the intersection of the digital and the physical, where I develop a distinct visual language that materializes through artistic tiles, spatial works, and immersive environments that engage directly with architecture and space.

Artistic tiles are a central axis of my identity as a creator. Within them, my narrative and mythological style takes shape in compositions deeply rooted in history, yet intentionally reinterpreted with irony, excess, and a playful, conceptual spirit. These pieces are conceived to inhabit walls, interiors, and spaces that seek a strong and expressive identity.

Kitsch & Huis (Hotel & Open Atelier) functions as an experimental laboratory where art, design, and hospitality intertwine, and where my works inhabit the space as an integral part of the experience. In parallel, I serve as artistic director and curator of Gallery Intussen, where I define the curatorial vision, design exhibitions, and support artists throughout research and production processes. From this role, I actively participate in the construction of a new creative community in Amsterdam, fostering dialogue between disciplines, generations, and contemporary artistic languages.

My Art is Easy to Consume but hard to Digest
