How difficult it is to describe oneself...
But I have no other choice.
My name is Jason Ayala Pacheco founder of Kitsch & Huis (Hotel and Art Studio), artistic director of Gallery Intussen, and curator of the Midzomer 750 solstice exhibition.
I work in a constant dialogue between the old and the new. From the elegance of the Renaissance and Baroque to the precision of Islamic geometry, I blend these classical influences with the freedom of minimalism, cubism, and contemporary abstraction. The result ? A visual language that adapts to both traditional spaces and bold, avant-garde environments.
My creations are always rooted in history but I like to twist it, to give it that cheesy yet conceptual flavor that makes people smile, think, or both. Art, for me, is a mission: to revive, reframe, and reimagine culture through walls, objects, and stories that speak.
Because sometimes the past just needs a bit of glitter.
My Art is Easy to Consume but hard to Digest
